Kakrine was in her full form again- her long gown trailing behind her, her platinum hair flowing down her back, her tail and ears both bearing the silver jewelery that you had come to know her for. the two little stripes on her silky white cheeks were slightly distorted as she smiled- and fanned her radiant wings out behind her. Nukara smiled as well, as Kakrine left you and headed for the forest that you now noticed in the distance.*~+~ my kin are gathering there as we speak. there is no need to worry- you will not whitnes anything overly unusual. all that we do at these gatherings is introduce the fillies and colts, and announce new representatives to different places. ~+~*she shrugged.*~+~ you will see Amarians and others like me- those like me will not fear you nor will they try to avoid you. you may have a harder time convincing one of our kin to befriend you, though. join us in the forest when you are ready- and i apologize if they are curious, but remember- do not approach them unless they come to you first. ~+~*she bowed, and wandered off to join Kakrine in the forest. you decided to stay here for a while, just to enjoy the fact that you would not be attacked in this place. as the hours wore on, you got quite an audience- at least twenty pairs of eyes gazed at you from the cover of the trees and clouds above. then, finally, after some time and hesitation, one came forward. if they were about the size of deer, this one was quite young. she stood about up to your waist. you knew it was a girl right away for two reasons- her stripes were of black and white, and her body looked too thin and frail to possible be supporting her weight. at the thickest point on her legs, they were still only about 5 inches across. it was nearly painful to look at, but then again, their frailty was what made the females hauntilgly adorable. her ears were layed back against her skull as she came forward, as were her wings to her back. her hooves were jet black, and her eyes were (aside from being huge in comparison to her head) were rather odd. one of them was brown, one of them was red. you had to look to see the difference, but it was quite clear when she got close to you. you also noticed little flame-like, rainbow hued flares at the base of her wings. that meant that she was going to be strong when she was older. she slowly extended her neck and sniffed your hand, then took a few paces back. you still could not comprehend how those long, nearly bone-thin legs held them up. that was another thing- these had very thin bones. what kept them from snapping? after a moment, she relaxed, letting her ears come up, followed by her wings which stuck slightly out to the sides. she was very beautiful, as far as any other creatures you had ever seen. her wings began to hum slightly as they blurred from your vission, and she slowly rose from the ground and began to hover just above it. she pulled her legs up a bit, and tilted her head to the side, gazing at you with eyes full of curiosity.*~+~ [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
