The thing I loved about this chapter is that acknowledged the imperfections of first time sex. So many stories make sex seem like a perfectly rehearsed porn production. But in reality, nerves happen. And the condom packet refuses to open. Or you can't get the thing on, make a mess of it, and have to start all over with a new one. Or stuff just doesn't want to go in the hole. But sex can still be fun regardless. :)
