A beautiful ending to an emotional story.
Brody saved Zack twice, I think. He gave him the strength to stand up to his 'father', both physically and mentally.
And saved him from possibly a similar future to the one his dad became.
I actually teared up for Zack, at the part with Mr. Raffe.
It's one thing to have your friends and your boyfriend, and your mother say things to make you feel good, even when what they're saying is true. But to have someone not as close to him like one of his teachers, really praise him and encourage him, like he did, it would have meant so much to me, and I'm sure it did to Zack.
And that brings to an end the first story I started reading on the Shack. It caught my eye first because the description was also very relatable to me.
