Hey I helped build this USBF thing. I only left to figuring or knowing that the OCB is growing at a phenomenal rate. Worked with both guys. Whashington has even stayed at my house. I personally cant say I wont have another USBF event cause I cant afford to do a pro show with the IFPA. Its always been my passion to put pro events on also. The IFPA has new rules were you must have all pro payouts at one show. That usually ends up being 7,000- 12,000 up front just in payouts. So who knows I might go back and promote both. Meantime with the current economy and baby on the way I will stick to amateur events. I just know if I had a open men's pro in 2012 I would have at least 15 guys going in. It has nothing to do with the organization your with. Its about what you bring to the table as a promoter. Kent is a damn good one!! Done his show 3 times.
Administratively OCB has their ducks in a row. USBF took a big step by starting to polygraph. Matt Shepley has a great vision about the future of the sport. You have to give him kudos for all he has done. I like the INBF also. All the promoters west of me are a classy bunch.
Anyway I think we need to look at each organization and pick the good out. We all are promoting the natural movement..
