Subject: task 13 - Individual

In my process of learning english I can identify some autonomic strategies. I can see strategies of memory because I like to write new vocabulary in a piece of paper and let it around my bedroom.So I would read it a couple times while I�m not studing. I also like to search of addictional material as text about a certain subject I want to know and I read it in english. I think that reading interesting stuff helps me to be able to memorize the vocabulary and to learn new vocabulary and strutures.
Other thing I like to do is to whatch movies with the english subtitles. In my opinon, watch videos is good for a student to be able to get used to the native accent and the language itself. Another strategy that helped me a lot was to think in english. When I was thinking about a specific subject I would think in english and some times I would create a dialogue in my head. This last strategy helped me to see my limitations and made me long for knowing more according to my needs. After I became a teacher I began to have much more strategies to learn more. The challenge is to teach the student so I use the dictionary and grammar books a lot to be able to explain the lessons better to my students.
