 Kyuusai just blinked slowly at the man…noting that he had stopped in front of the building. Why? Why had they stopped progressing? Already he could smell the wonderful scent of food…whatever it was, he didn’t know but…it was…appetizing. Again he blinked slowly, watching the man.

Slowly he opened his mouth to speak…his voice issuing forth with a flowing language altogether beautiful and mystifying. The language was older than fey…old as time itself as he spoke it. The ancient tongue..the tongue of the divine ones. Still, that was not to be known, since only divine beings would even recognize the flowing words. Blinking the boy awaited a response…unmoving. Noticing no answer…he phrased the words again.

Why did he bow? What was inside this place that deserved such an act of honor? Inquisitive eyes looked on as he stood there. Another cool breeze whipping his bright white tendrils about his face…

Ah to see the world in the eyes of the innocent…
