His dojung was simple, though he paused at the entry to bow. Respect was a necessary function in life, particularly respect for those places in which you trianed. Else you would end up as Hogoromo had done, father and son fighting in the streets even though it might be in jest.

"Come, come. Bow as you enter." Dashell glanced back at the boy, waving him to come forward. Inside, a male forgotten, not much older in appearance than this boy, was placing good smelling soup on a table.
