the human girl was grateful that the girlcreature didn't follow, though she could see faintly the outline of her on the branch she'd vacated. Moving rapidly through the trees she finally stopped when it looked like she was well away from those two whatevers. She would wait a few minutes before returning to the hidden city and using the portal away. By now the other humans had passed through and were safely away. The portal was waiting for her, Daven had mentioned that she was supposed to be the last person through so it would seal. He didn't tell her where exactly she was going to end up though, just that she would be safe.
