Myuler hadn't returned yet, and students were filtering into the classroom, while Cyrus polished some unknown object on his shirt. The work had been fast, but precise, and well worth it.

As Emi came in, chatting with Yomi, he stood suddenly, and approached her, then shuffled his feet, and glared at Yomi, before turning to Emi, and handing it to her.

A perfectly carved, full sized rose made from a solid fire opal, a gold shimmer on a black surface giving the gem its name, it made the 'rose' all the more beautiful... it also represented a lot of work, since the only place to get such an item was from the dwarves, and even Cyrus didn't get anything free there.

"Uhhh... hi Emi, I was kinda hoping er.... we... might do something this weekend," he said, trying his best to keep his confidence in his voice.
