 Johan had answered Yomi's comment before Lashana could say anything further, though Cyrus' last words still rang in her ears. Looking down she answered him.

"No.... because there's nothing to forgive. You have the right to feel angry and hurt because I DID leave. It was longer than I had ever intended.... far too long. The one who should be asking for forgiveness is me. Do you... Can you forgive me for being gone so very long, for missing you grow up, for not being here when you needed me?"

Amethyst crystals tinkled to the ground as she lifted her head to gaze at her son. There was no questioning in her eyes, if he said he couldn't forgive her for what she'd done she would understand and find a way to deal with it no matter the pain it caused. She'd had one child reject her for a time once before, though that instance it had been ~her~ fault and not Tiani's. When she'd first laid eyes on her demonically fathered daughter all she could see was the demon who'd forced Tiani's creation on her. Then when she realized that even if Tiani's father was a demon of the foulest sort she was still her daughter... and by then Tiani hadn't wanted anything to do with her. It was because of Johan that Tiani finally forgave her.... or at least that was what Lashana hoped for. Of course Tiani wasn't an easy person to understand. Now though, it was up to Cyrus to forgive and in her heart she hoped he could.
