Cyrus blinked, part of him wanted to stay angry, to resent, to hate. It was afterall, a lot easier to hate than it was to forgive, and yet, the larger part of him, the part of him that sometimes made tears come too easily to him, understood.
He realized, as he thought about it, what she had done had been done to save himself and Yomi... being farther removed from the weave than Yomi, he hadn't been able to hear or touch, or see the weave in quite some time.
"I understand, mom. I just... I'm sorry I was angry. When you came back, I didn't know what to feel, at one point, I was glad you were back, but that brought questions to the surface... I remember when I was young, I would ask dad when you were coming back, and he never had any answers. I was too young to understand, but I do now," He said, looking down, ashamed of having been angry. "Forgive me?"
