The pounding of the warriors' footsteps was only interupted by a sigh, and when they struck, they struck something that was as hard as steel, but completely invisible. Myuler turned to face them, having been on Tyrsis' flank, and his hands where held together in the form of some symbol or seal. It extended over him, Tyrsis, and the young wyrd. Some would call him the insane old archmage, others might call him the one that doesn't fight. Others would know him as the Barrier Mage, but it never changed the fact that he was one thing, and one thing alone.

Forever opposed to fighting. Not but twice in his whole life did he ever cast an offensive spell, since in reality, the best offence was a great defence.

The barrier repelled those with malice, and those that were coming forward to strike down Tyrsis were definately full of it. Aquamarine eyes looked fiery, since he disliked both having to need to make a barrier, and the fact they would have the lack of honor to attack from behind.

The only one left with malice was the man with his blade stuck in Aphrodite's forearms. Her forearm went down the blade, and she wrapped her other paw around the blade itself, and pushed back up, balencing herself on her hind legs to add effort into the push up. A test of strength. She wasn't as strong as her parent, but she put up a good fight.

Blood oozed from between her claws, and down her arm, and started to form a puddle on the ground. The sound of the bone in her arm cracking was almost audible.

She took a chance, and shifted all of her weight onto her right leg, and kicked outward and upward for the attacking man's chest.
