A crash was heard from the second floor, and another assassin was flung from the house, dead.

Vell glanced up, then back to Tyrsis.

"Yes...yes he is. Come on in, I'll go get him."

He waited for Tyrsis to enter, then shut the door behind her after seeing Wyrd shake his head and sit down beside the door outside.

Aphrodite lifted her head, her tail half wagging, half twitching when she saw Tyrsis. Vell moved over the couch and up the flight of stairs two steps at a time. He rapped on the door, and his voice carried back down the stairs.

"Old man, if you're done cleaning house, you've got company." Then vell came back down the stairs, and took his spot back on the arm of the couch.

A few minutes later, Myuler came down stairs, covered in dust. Cleaning house implied more than greeting the poor souls that decided to enter his house in malice. No one but they would die here. He sighed.

"You rang?"
