She was known to the dwarves.... perhaps they'd be less likely to shoot her on sight than another messenger. Wheeling in the air she pumped her wings and kited the last few miles to where she knew of an entrance to the dwarven caverns lay. When she was overhead she folded her wings and dove, wind whistling through metallic feathers with a painful hissing. When she was less than fifty feet above the ground she backwinged, a loud clap of noise accompanying the snap of her wings as it broke the air around her. Her wings beat slowly, lowering her to the ground less than twenty feet from the concealed entrance. When her feet touched the earth and the dust kicked up from her landing settled she found herself staring into the sights of a loaded and leveled crossbow. She knew without looking that there was two others, forming a half circle around her, all with weapons ready and waiting for her to make a wrong move. "Heyla guys. Don't worry, I'm not here to fight I just have a message to be passed on. I've been told that Lashana Damongrave is here. She needs to be warned about an...." "We dunnae care. She bain't be here an if'n she twere she'd ah been kicked out. 'Shana's a friend but she's also one o' yur people an yur kind ain't welcome here. Now git, afore we pummel ye." The fact that the dwarves hadn't attacked her before talking was a good thing..... but it looked like Raaine had wasted her time. Either Lashana wasn't here or the dwarves didn't know or care if she was. Stepping back she spread her wings and took off, leaving the dwarves to head back for Hogoromo. Tyrsis would be warned at least. Hopefully Lashana could take care of herself. Afterall she was below the earth....and the earth was hers to control.
