Kyira took a step after Johan. "Wait a second, Johan." Her stance shifted and a little smile flickered across her face. "You don't have to go to the ends of the earth to find out what I know. Hogoromo is where we need to be anyways."
She sauntered over until she stood directly in front of him. "Flying is faster, and I think that old mage's house is the quietest place to talk."
She would tell him about the guild when she got there, he didn't need to know before then and she doubted that he would be entirely happy.

Tiani stretched, both childen asleep in her lap as she sat on her porch swing. Her world was a peaceful place, for the time. Untouched by the outside world...
...and it had better stay that way, damnit.
***
"What's wrong, sis?" Sierra touched Zenra's shoulder, breaking her long time friend from the daze that she had been in for nearly an hour. "You seem distracted, like you are worrying about something again."

Tyrsis stood at the window, watching Wyrd and Jarek face one another. Wyrd would guard Zenra to the death, never betraying her and never allowing a single ounce of harm to come to her. And if Wyrd fell, Tyrsis would take his place. And Myuler. And Kami. And Johan. And Lashana. And...
...the chain would never be broken. Even if the assassin founf where she was, even if he learned tot ake her from that place. Until all were dead, she would be guarded. Even by those in paradise with her.
Golden eyes were saddened, watching the chain of events that would sprout from this one, leading towards nothing but death in this world. Decay and stagnation an event unforseen, because it was an ending that no one wanted to admit. Emillia Dan'Shir had made a mistake when she ahd outcaste the humans in Hogoromo. Zenra Dan'Shir had made a mistake in the moment that the Whirlwind King's words had brought her to anger.
Forbiddion lived in all of them, though it held no sentient goal. Six red eyes gleamed in the back of her mind, begging release, begging for...
...compromise.
They were denied before they began to surface. Just as Kami had learned, Tyrsis had followed. Forbiddion had never ruled her in sentience, and it would never rule her now. Another burden to be taken alone, to her grave if she needed it to be. Begging eyes held a hunger that she would always want to deny. That hunger had been within her since the day she was outcaste by the Escalvone. Wyrd held that hunger now, as he watched the assassin who's name Tyrsis suddenly knew.
Jarek Shadowblood, assigned by a man that Zenra had known to... to take Zenra back towards what she ahd been destined to become. To restore the humans to Aurora, even if it meant taking the rest of the world apart to do it. A man meant to restore everything back towards point zero. To the begining.
The window curtain snapped in a gust of wind and she came back to herself, looking at the scene that had been frozen before her, trapped in a moment. Or perhaps her Sight had just come more quickly this time. She didn't know.
"You're just another pawn, Jarek Shadowblood." Her voice was soft, hardly carrying though the wind took it away. "We all are. Again."
