"DO I LOOK LIKE AN ELF?" Misty shouted at the gate guard, emerald green eyes flashing with rage. She'd been out in the forest when the attack had come and now the fools at the gates were trying to tell her she couldn't come in. There had been a mass expulsion of any non forgotten and one of those that had been kicked out was Talen....despite that fact that his father was Dias...an actual forgotten. And now the jerks at the gate were refusing to let her inside.

Powder blue wings went bladed and she glared at them before finally doing something she ordinarily wouldn't have done....she used her gift of empathy against them, dropping them to their knees from the assault. She walked past them, wings glinting in the early rays of sun, moving purposefully towards the palace. She was certain Zenra would make an exception for Talen.....she knew him and knew Misty as well. Maybe if Zenra wouldn't listen Emi would.... Misty and Emi had been friends....
