As he finished the handspring he felt the staff hammer into his side, his feet stumbled but his mouth grinned, his eyes locked onto hers as his body blurred into the fall. Shadow after shadow layering around him as he fell to the ground and rolls back to his feet, what would have normally taken ten or more seconds to him only a few. As the shadows layered around him he used the magic to layer over his mind to make it harder for anything to determine what moves he was intending to make.

As he stood looking at Tyrsis his eyes shifted for a fraction of a second to the other in the room. He knew that she as well was one of his targets but currently he only had one goal.

Holding up both hands in the blur of the shadow speed his shadows seemed to seperate from him lurching forward for a moment before twisting into a dragon form and coming down toward the seer.

Spinning on his heels as the attack moved in, Jarek began a run at the back wall preparing another shadow gate to escape.
