His head was turned, following Tyrsis' back as the woman walked away, and he sighed. He was too late. The girl's soul was already freed to the Weave, and he was in no position to do rituals to call it back. He knew none. He snorted at the guards, and withdrew the sword from Emi, sniffing the blade. "Shadows." He snarled and bit the blade in half, chewing the metal as he rose, gold eyes on the guards that seemed hesitant to approach with him near. His tail swished and he turned and followed the direction Tyrsis went, spitting out a metal spike into the shadows, and impaling an assassin there without even stopping. "Something is rising."
