She would wait for an eternity, but she did not speak it. Humanity on this plane might not be used to such trained talents. As the two exited their shelter, she retracted the cold slightly.

The other was a girl, barely older than a child. At home, she would not even have begun adventuring for another two years.

Rose petal scent wafted through the air and the cold was entirely withdrawn, consciously. Simple could do that much as they covered the short distance to the Bloodknight encampment. At that, she smiled, unaware of the affect that it might have upon the two strangers who now faced her. Jarek would be proud of the village she had taken. It had not cost a single life.

"This way."

She turned and began leading them through the night.
