The time has come for you to leave here, little one. But you are not ready to return home. You have many things to learn, and a lot of growing still to do. I'm going to send you somewhere you can do both.
Zenra's eyes raised, and she met eyes that held infinite love, but she was confused.
How long you are away will depend on you, but I at least require you to stay where I put you for two weeks. Anything beyond that will be your choice.
Zenra turned her head, her brow furrowing in concern through an unspoken question.
Do not concern for your physical body child. I shall take care of that as well. You will be protected.
Zenra nodded gently, and returned her gaze to those eyes.
"I'm ready, then."

Zenra's body seemed to melt on the bed, only to reform into a curled ball of feathers. The ball unfurled, a long slender neck raising up from silvery white feathers. In Zenra's place rest a swan, with Zenra's locket around its neck. Should someone try to remove the locket, it would feel as though it was the weight of the world, though it swayed gently about her neck.
The bird went to stand, and fumbled on the unsteady, soft surface of the bed, and fluttered. There was no sentient soul within those bird's turquoise eyes, but she was alive. Her spirit was elsewhere. The swan made her way to the floor and waddled about.

Paradise.
She'd often dreamt of it, often wondered what it was true like, and here she was. She wondered why she was sent here, and her thoughts were broken by a giggle and a chuckle behind her. She turned, and saw why. This was her test.
"Hello Magus, Sierra."
