She didn't know what had awakened her and she lay quietly trying to figure it out. After a few minutes the scent of burning flesh reached her nostrils.... the smoke of the burning pyres of dead had drifted enough that she could smell it. Slipping out of bed she ran for the bathroom that was attached to the room, having barely enough time to pull her hair away from her face before her stomach emptied itself into the toilet. After her stomach was empty she remained, her body still trying to purge everything from her system.
