Dawnsfire was aware of Silverfox' movement and mentally shook her head. She felt bad for dragging the girl into this. Perhaps she would change her mind and be willing to ask the Filanon for sanctuary. They would at least protect her until Dawnsfire was able to return or until Silverfox chose to move on. Kyira's offer might have been made in good faith but Dawnsfire didn't dare trust her. Trusting the elves had only resulted in the senseless slaughter of her people.
