One of the dwarves that encircled Kami grimaced and threw one of his weapons. It glinted in the dying light as it hurtled end over end to sink deep in the chest of the drow who'd fired the bolt. Looking at Tiani as she crumpled he snarled in the common tongue.

"Who was so careless as to leave one of those foul elves alive? Nevermind we have to go. Come along elf, unless you'd prefer to be skewered here? I assure you there are enough of us to make sure you don't survive."

The voice spoke again, keeping his words in the common tongue for the benefit of Kami.

"Leave the female, she's not our problem. Though she did show that we have to move swiftly if we wish to avoid more drow entanglements."

The duergar moved forward, closing their ring around both Kami and the fallen Tiani. If Kami was wise he'd go with the dwarves, they didn't want to kill him..... yet.
