They huddled in groups. Most of them were old men or children. Some were healers. Other still were half breeds of Forgotten and some other heritage.
The despair he thought.
A tear ran down his left eye as he slowly walked into the camp, his silver hair trailing behide him as several jumped up at the intrusion, brandishing what few weapons they could sneak out, or what they made from tree branches.
The elves gave a great yaulp of surprize and joy as they quickly gathered to one of the greatest clans leader.
Kami Dan'Shir.
" Lord Dan'Shir! The For.." Began one elf, even as the rest stood up and gathered, noting their fellow refugees happy expressions, and believing maybe some good fortune has visited them.
Kami held up a pale white hand and nodded.
" I know Vransh, and yes I remember you. I heard about it, I too was denied entry into the Holy city of Hogoromo. I came to gather those that wished to, and come to Dan'Shir with me. I will provide you food, shelter, and a nice fire until we can set things up with wherever you wish to travel to. But all of you, no matter your hertiage...are welcome in my home. This is the word of a Holy Knight. " He bowed somewhat, many of them cheering at the noble gesture.
All of them left with him as he took them to Dan'Shir.
As his fellow elvish warriors were leading them away into the forest, taking safe trails to their home, Kami remained behide.
" Emillia. How horrible of you...to hurt so many people..and I can See that you are continuing this hurt, this pain. Forbiddion has scarred you so deeply my daughter. I wish I could be the balm for your pain, I know this pain too. However..." He said, his voice going from soft and gentle to hard as steel as his eyes glinted with an inner fire, a passion , a rage.
" You've only been caressed by Forbiddion, only gently touched by its cruelty...I however...I was embraced by it..so this is no excuse for your behavior. Childish brat. " He tsked, Forbiddion also in his mind. And yes, it lashed as well at him.
But it could not touch him any longer, and slowly, those six eyes were fading, wondering where its power had went.
He turned and left, talking with the people he knew, talking with those he didn't yet know.
And during his conversations, one thought remained.
