In reply to: Emi 's message, "I know you..." on 09/13/04 12:58:06pm Mon

Absently Dawnsfire lifted her hand to swat at what she assumed was a mesquito, though it was in fact where the blade of Seraph had nicked her. Looking at Seraph as he stood over Emi she gave a faint frown as she spoke.

"I did not aid the young one in search of a reward, I aided her because the Daughter of Ice and Wind, because Zenra asked me to and because my own conscience demanded it of me. The winds of Dark Madness swirl around you, easier to see than the assassin in the dark. I am ashamed to admit I did not see or feel his presence here, though my own weapons were left behind as a gesture of good will to Zenra. Humans are not very popular with the Forgotten people, a fact I and my people hope to soften with this alliance. I would be very disappointed if the alliance between my peoples and Zenra's was destroyed because of my carelessness."

Dawnsfire gazed at Seraph as he stood there, her eyes watching as the Black Wind stirred his hair with frenzied fingers. She could see it around him and could faintly hear the voices that must have been a clamoring in his ears and wondered how he found peace. It could not be easy.

OOC:I don't care that you autoed Sib, I'm just glad your back again.
