Johan sighed and read the letter, then walked down the hallway to find Zenra, knock, and enter. His eyes regarded her for but a moment.
He hated doing this, with the rumors that persisted.
"Zenra, are you aware of the rumors that circulate," he asked softly, making sure he had her attention first, then continued, "Politically speaking, this is going to lead to a war we are not ready for if something is not done. As strong as our defenses have become, they are not strong enough, and though I have provided what help I can in rebuilding them, only hard lessons in the field will teach the knights anything further. I am going to play... advisor, in this, Zenra. You must speak with the leaders of humans, and you must speak to our people, keep lines of communication open, or there will be war on two fronts."
Johan paused a moment, waiting for Zenra to take it all in, "Vicious rumors persist about you, and I am positive that rumors amongst humans have been circulated. I would suggest diplomacy; take precautions of course, bring an entourage of strong, loyal friends and warriors," He finished then turned.
"I have however, been negligent as a husband for far too long, and must take my leave of you, for a while at the least. I love Lashana, and must go to her now. Take care of my son, while I am away, as you promised," He said and began taking steps to the door.
"And speak to your people; With the words that fly upon the streets, we're liable to be in a civil war if things continue as they are. You must be very careful in your actions and the like, keep all things distant from yourself save known family and close friends, and make it all very public. These are dangerous times."
The door closed behind him, and he raced towards where he knew Lashana to be in all haste. He also prayed that the Ty'frr would aid them as well.
