 The Filanon retaliated by massacring those that dared attack their trees, arrows finding the soft throats and weak areas in the human's armor with ease. Row after row of humans died as they attempted to destroy the forest's edge, grim faced Filanon standing within the safety of their trees and firing their bows. The blue beads that decorated both their bows and their arrows allowed them to fire their weapon of choice from the solid shielding of their trees, the beads letting the arrows fly through the trees to reach their targets.

Misty felt the outpouring of death that flooded over her in a blackish bloody wave and instinctively slammed up the shields that she and Pan had been working to build..... and felt them bow beneath the weight of those in pain. She cringed as though expecting a physical blow, even though she knew the pain she would feel if her sheilding collapsed would be entirely emotional. Emerald eyes lifted and looked at Pan, dawning realization flickering across her face.

"This is what you planned isn't it? If the humans attacked you planned on decimating their ranks. Why? Zenra was tryin to solve this problem peacefully.... now there's gonna be a war that neither side can afford to have."
