"Thank you" she murmured and bowed her head. She had a duty to perform and sitting would make it easier for her. "You might want to stand back....and hold Yomi tightly. I don't want either of you to be caught in this." She waited only until Johan and Yomi were away from her before beginning. She'd been gathering strength and energy for a long time, ever since she'd discovered what she was being called on to do. Violet eyes gazed for a moment at her daughter and husband before closing, the better for her to concentrate on the task at hand.
To all outward appearances she was calm, even relaxed but inwardly the power she'd harvested pulsed. A soft hum began to slide from her lips and then the very walls of the caves began to vibrate with her, humming along with power pulsing. Moments passed until she was surrounded by an azure glow that sparkled and glistened with life. If someone had been in tune with either the Weave or the earth they would feel a subtle pressure, a gentle probing as the orb that surrounded Lashana gained intensity. The Weave's song sang around her, through her and gave her the tools needed to alter the Ty'frr enough that their race would survive. It also cleansed those who were poisoned, making them fertile again.
It didn't take long at all before Lashana ceased humming, before the walls stopped it's accompaniment, before the orb that had surrounded Lashana dissapated completely and slumped forward. If her pulse was to be checked it would be strong but incredibly slow and her breathing was barely enough to be heard. Her duty was done, her body drained and her powers depleted. For a good cause. Her body slowly crumpled onto it's side, her hair spilling across her face. Should her hair be moved Johan would see a soft smile curving her lips and a subtle joy evident on her face. Her duty was done.
