He willingly, though he knew he could not halt the juggernaunt, let the sphere give way to Wyrd's onslaught, taking the tail across his chest as it sent him briefly across the landscape. His eyes closed as he focused beyond the pain, the demi-plane, his own creation, bending to his will as the laws of physics altered , gently setting him down as his own wounds healed.

Lightning crackled across the plane as he sighed, his body shimmering as it went back to his true home to recover the strength of his soulgem. However he did not leave this play before glimpsing the reason of Wyrd's sudden departure.

" We're too late, it has begun. " Came the whisper reply as the pair ran, as they have been near constantly for many hours, sweat, grime, and dust covering their bodies as they continued their forced march.

The other remained silent.
