Things moved and stirred as forces tore themselves apart, Forgotten army proving a much stricter foe than any on Aurora could have predicted. It had become a very fortunate thing that this path was chosen.
Human and Forgotten alike fell, dashed to peices against the rocks in a river of blood and sweat. Forgotten had the tactical and skill advantage. Humans had sheer numbers as others heard the tumult rise from the skies, unannounced messengers proclaiming the state of Hogoromo and its righteous attackers. To steal a child without purpose violated even the ethics of the barbarian clans of humankind. A world was in chaos, men and women gathering to Hogoromo and battle.

"Mom!" Tiani nearly dropped the little girl in her arms, hair rising along the back of her neck as she fumbled for a moment and handed the child to Morpheus.
Fiery wings sent her airborne and she left her family standing in their garden. She was making a v-line for the Ty'frr, Hogoromo's state unknown to her.

Tyrsis grimaced, resonating hum filling her ears and threatening to make her world go black. Vaguely, she was aware of Aphrodite in front of her, cool stone against her back and the gates begining to close. Halfway there, they stopped, controls too damaged by fire to work properly. Her mind replaced itself and she let it go, instinct and reflex taking over as she stepped beside Aphrodite and the silver rod became a staff, still humming loudly. The humans that came freshly through the gate met claw and staff, their blood slickening the stonework of Hogoromo. Those men within the walls were inexplicably dead, several Forgotten stumbling about dazed as though they had taken a blow to the head. The city was in discord, reason taken away from it in a moment of empathic release.
