Some Liberals may employ the volcabulary of Resurrection, but they may refer to spiritual, rather than bodily, resurrection.

More Liberals can accept calling Jesus the "Son of God," with various interpretations of this designation in mind. Many think that his perfect moral life and "God-awareness" has led him to the status of the Son of God, rather than being born to be the Son of God.

Jesus has these qualities undoubtedly. But even Liberals would probably be offended by attempts to purge Jesus of spiritual significance by saying that he was just a "純粹是歷史人物".

Liberals usually draw a distinction between the Christ of Faith and the historical Jesus. The Christ of Faith as appeared in the New Testament text has probably undergone modifications (usually embellishment) from the historical Jesus, but that doesn't mean the Christ of Faith is unimportant or Jesus has not existed historically.
