I think this conversation is going nowhere. The two sides simply have different assumptions and different ways of seeing science and the bible. Hello, if your purpose is to convince others that there is a God, I think you don't need to waste more energy as (I believe) most people here already believe that. Does believing in God mean one has to reject evolution? No. There are conservative Christians who don't reject evolution.
