這篇文章有兩個問題：

首先就是沒有繼續描述二十世紀自由主義的發展，
彷彿自由神學已經歸回塵土，
這樣就無法去到自由主義同後自由主義之間的爭論了

其次就是沒有討論到二十世紀二十年代中國教會當中的爭論，
正是在那時候教會才分成福音派跟非福音派兩個陣營，
如果進行一種歷史的回溯，就可以看見福音派之所以成為主流，
其實是由於歷史條件所產生優勢使然的
