Yes, I like what you say, "Let's plan our work and work our plan." Of course we have to have safeguards (or ground rules up front) so that these scholarship offerings go to truly deserving students. There should also be a great deal of thought given towards giving financial aid to those families of children without enough funds to buy food to eat (like a lunch allowance, etc.).   • Manong Tom's proposal is great but also I agree with what you said Auntie Nomen that it doesn't need to be the veledictorians or salutatorians who can have these financial aids for we have kids back home who badly want to finish at least their high school but just can't because of financial hardships. I think another way we could help is for us to encourage people to open up more businesses in Tagudin so that there will be employment and this way people might be able to afford to have their kids go to school.
