Subject: Dear Manong Deacon Tom, Thank you for your visit in the parish last christmas season. Your visit was indeed an experience of sharing the christmas spirit. Now such sharing spirit is becoming contagious. Many have already caught up with that spirit as they signified their intention to be part of the proposed scholarship foundation for the future of tagudin's young generation. Back home in Tagudin, we will organize the board of directors with teachers as pastoral leaders from each of the 43 barangays and write the concept of the whole scholarship program.

  • Dear Father Albert, thank you for helping highlight this need for our young children in Tagudin. Indeed there are many "needs" we can readily identify, some more critical than others. I firmly believe that our young children need a good education in order to become productive and responsible citizens. To this end I am privileged to be part of this group tasked with starting "a drive" for funds earmarked for education. As you may have already read in this Message Board, many Tagudinians (our prospective donors and supporters of this cause) have stated concerns, not the least of which is the "politics" that could undermine such an effort. May I recommend that whoever heads this Board of Trustees would be open to unannounced audits and be willing to give detailed annual reports on how the funds are disbursed, complete with names, pictures and brief bios of recipients.
