Subject: Greetings!

Thank you so much for putting this website up. I was just wondering what I could find about Tagudin on the Internet when I stumbled upon this site. What a great way to put the town on the map, at the same time provide a way to link up Tagudinians from far and near! Tagudin has a very special place in my heart. I grew up with my lola "Sepa" (Josefa La Madrid), whose house is just a few steps away from the plaza. I attended Tagudin Elementary School from Grade 1 to 4 and SAS for my 2nd year of high school (77-78). I have very fond memories of those years, especially of that one year I studied in SAS. Some of my classmates were Melanie Padayao, Nora Jimenea, Rhodora Ramirez, Manolito Martinez, Leila Lite to name a few. I've always wished I had stayed on to finish HS there, but Lola decided to return to Canada and I went back to my parents in Manila. The last time I saw Tagudin was in 1983, for my Lola Sepa's funeral. The photos (Town Hall and Bio Bridge) conjured up so many memories and, at an instant, transported me back to my days there. It made me miss the place all the more. I left for Canada in 1987 and have gone back to the Phils twice since, but we couldn't make it to Tagudin on both occasions. You can bet the next time we go home, we will make it a point to go to Tagudin and to visit Seaside Park. Thanks again so very much for this website. I haven't gone through the whole message board yet, but I will - in time. Who knows, I may even come across someone I know! The Lord bless you for your efforts! --- Mary-Ann Garcia Ting (also known as Bingbing)
