Subject: You are welcome Michael. Hope those photos bring a lot of memories to all the people who haven't been back to Tagudin for awhile. Going for a visit will always be an option for you in the future. Your relatives will be there to welcome you. The Philippines is a different country compared to the states or any other country but if you give a lot of heart to it and don't have lots of expectations, you will have a wonderful and memorable time. The people will charm you. They are warm and friendly, very down to earth.
In reply to: Michael Acosta 's message, "Thank you for the beautiful pictures of Tagudin. I'm sure it has sparked warm and cherished memories for all those local and abroad that were born and raised in Tagudin. It is tempting me to make a visit to my father's hometown!" on 09/ 5/04 8:01am

  • Also, the best time of the year to go to the Philippines is probably around September to February for the weather is more pleasant. March to May is very warm (mid 90's daily) and everything is brown but also this is when the fruits are in season such as mangoes and others and June to September is the rainy season. The other areas in the country especially the islands are also worth visiting. (NT) -- Moderator, 09/ 5/04 1:32pm
