Hello Juliet, welcome. I am glad that you found this site. With the last names of Cuaresmas and Valdez, you are definitely from Tagudin. Your mother sounds familiar but my parents who are also now residing in Tagudin sure know your parents. Like your mom, they opted to go back to Tagudin after their retirement from the States. I do remember the late Tang Piring Cuaresma who lived along the highway right before Las-ud if he was a relative of yours. You might be even be a distant relative of mine. My father is from Candon but my grandfather's (my moms father) middle name is also Valdez. Hopefully your relatives who would be passing by this message board would see your message. I will mention your message to my mother when I get a chance to talk to her.
