 to marie and number 4. arlene, right? i visited newburgh a couple of years back. it changed a lot. a lot of it good and still a lot of it bad...it is still newburgh. our hometown.... i was sad and i was glad... mixed emotions. to do away with your nostalga is a sad thing. it is a reason i keep this damn web. and i do like to keep informed, even if it is nothing i am concerned about. you are all interesting people. i left newburgh because of bad personal memories. no family anymore to speak of. i have family down here and am happy, for my 79 years old. but i have friends in newburgh also altho a lot of them died....when i think of newburgh, i think of the old happy days. the bad memories may linger but the past is the past....a new day, every day.... i'll close and say. i may be going back to newburgh one day. i have some old and i mean old friends to see before i die, i hope you guys are included. that's all, my silly comment, for what is it worth. marie from florida
