I do remember my first friend. Her name was Patty Lahey and she lived three doors down from me. She was adorable! We both had those long bouncy curls hanging down our backs and big bows on the side of our heads! Our mothers were good friends. Unfortunately we lost touch when I was 13 and moved from the neighborhood. The last time I saw her was when her father died and I went to his wake, which was probably 30 years from the time I had last seen her! She remembered me, too! Nice topic.........
