45 yrs. ago I met a girl from Wallkill, NY who moved to Wellington. Her husband was transferred out here. We became good friends. When I had my son she came over to watch our 2 girls the day I came home from the hospital. A few years later the company he worked for closed and they moved back to Wallkill. When I took my oldest grandson who was about 5 on his 1st plane trip he wanted a hamburger for his dinner but my aunt had none so we went to a store in Walden. Who should walk in, my friend. That was the last time I talked to her but every Christmas we send cards and keep each other up on the latest news.

Here's a good topic, have you ever gone on vacation and met someone you knew from years ago?
