Over on the other board there was mention of some work being done on the old West Shore Train Station. What year did passenger trains stop running on the west side of the river north of Nyack? I do remeber taking a train from that station but have no idea when or if we went north or south. While we are looking for subjects...the other evening on the news it mentioned that The Red River was one of two rivers in the US that ran NORTH....I know of one in the Hudson Valley but since they only mentioned The Red River, and not the other, we can discuss.
