Subject: 2011 Season Update

Just wanted to give you guys an update on where we are with the Schedule. We now have 8 confirmed races with options another one or two at those 2 respective tracks. I am waiting to hear back from 2 local D'FW tracks. Once I have spoken to them I will pull the trigger on dates with the other tracks I have spoken to.

Last season when we were sorting out Mike McGraws car we did it at RedLine. Mike lives 5 minutes from the gate. Granted, we ran the right lane, but we went bottom 4.70's lap after lap many different nights. Not to mention the class has ran there in the past seasons. Ever since Kelly first asked me to bring the class to RedLine last year and since my first announcement about running there this year, I have said that they will need to fix their racing surface before I'll bring the class back. I'm not just bumping my gums, it's a safety issue. Period. In my view, they have until the 3rd weekend in April to make that happen. [> I received a phone call from Kelly Duncan this morning. He wanted to discuss the comments here regarding the Red Line facility itself. What I came away with is a very distinct understanding that he and Harry are committed to the Racers and the Fans. I was told very emphatically that the repairs to the track will be made before our first race in April. Harry confirmed it while I was on the phone.
