Just like Terry mentioned, he has some really good ideas. He and I had a really good conversation this past Friday. Mike Brink will be sponsoring our points fund with a $2,000.00 contribution. Marty Chance will be providing us with $200.00 per race in the form of 2 $100.00 gift certificates. As I mentioned before, one will go to the race Winner and the other one will go to the slowest qualifier. [> I understand your point, I considered NCRC's proposed Sponsorship program long and hard before I announced it last Fall. The idea of a Sponsor providing cash prizes for good performances is an ideal situation to say the least. But, in today's economy finding any Sponsor to step up with participation at any level is a bonus for us. If we had folks lined up to provide us with incentive based cash Sponsorship programs then we probably would not be having this conversation... but we don't, so we are. The cool thing is we have more Sponsors than we did last year. There will be more cash and gift certificate based programs, we are working on them. In fact, I had long conversations with an existing Sponsor yesterday morning and with a new Sponsor this morning. I'll make an announcement about all that very soon. Thanks for your comments...
