Subject: Kennedale Race 9-24-2010

Just got off the phone with Cindi at TXR and she says the race tonight is a GO! I know a lot of people are wondering about the weather but we are taking the leap that Mother Nature is going to work with us and give us some great racing conditions tonight. Let's go out there and put on a great show like we always do. See everybody tonight. First Qualifying pass is at 7pm.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call me.

Thanks,
Stan Thomas

[> How about the B-W motorsports team of Kent Berks & Rodney Walker. They had a go showing for the new combo and it won't be long before all the other guy's are racing for 2nd place!!!! :-) -- Just wait and see., 09:39:11 09/26/10 Sun [1]

[> [> The guy makes 2 of the last races, and only one #1 qualifing spot and you already want to send him to the top ? thats kinda bold . Not trying to take anything away from those guys , but time will tell . -- too early to tell, 21:46:05 09/26/10 Sun [1]

[> [> [> You ALL will be racing for 2nd place. And no it's no to early to tell. You said it yourself, "just 2 faxes and already a #1 qualifier"! Most of you guy have been at this for years and still have not been #1 -- You question that? Just way and see!!!!!!, 08:29:56 09/27/10 Mon [1]

[> [> [> [> [> who are you refurring to as "you"? It's not one of them, it' just me..... Oh by the way how come you have to run nitrous on that big O motor of your's, won't it go fast enough without it? -- Speed racer, 04:31:48 09/28/10 Tue [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> Kent is not the first one to run 4.70 straight motor...and not going to be the last either. Moser has it figured out now with a 500 in engine. Thomas has run a 60 something without nitrous in the good air with a 565. Scott Randall ran OTS with some success a few years ago straight motor and I think his was about 600 inches. I don't know where exactly this is headed, but Kent's engine in Eddie's car would be lucky to run a 5.00. Eveybody's combo is different to make it work. We will see how all this works out by looking at the points standings at the end of next year. -- Motor only sure is hard to dial-in., 08:17:37 09/28/10 Tue [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> The sled of Eddies is weighing in at around 2580# to Kents 2150 # maybe ???? Im just guessing . The motor in that car is not that big ,like I said Im not trying to take anything away from the guy and his team I was merely saying It is awfully premature to be shooting off . I would be willing to make a few side bets though . -- Mike ROG, 20:40:27 09/28/10 Tue [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> .........and to ''SPEED RACER'' your answer to the question would be NO ! The car at that weight will only run .80's on motor . -- Please dont take this thread the wrong way , ROG, 20:45:36 09/28/10 Tue [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Reply to motor only is hard to dial in. Its easy to add or subtract a few pounds to run a 4.705. No rocket science there. I heard moser changes the angle of the rear wing to dial it in. Ive changed the air pressure in the tires to adjust ET before. How hard could it be? -- I like blowers, 12:26:38 10/01/10 Fri [1]
