hi kirsten, i feel we have such an odd relationship because i first "met" you on this chatboard when i read some eloquent postings you wrote last summer when i was first finding this community --and then you were the first woman i experienced "doing" with (albeit attenuated since N jumped in with a rebalancing session .. which was fine with me, being a rather slow beginner in some ways). Yet in person i've not seen you much. Now i sit watching the maumee river freeze out my back windows, it is magnificent. I feel some distance from you and yet your words are direct, immediate, there is no distance. we are on journeys that defy easy analysis. I had some serious family problems late last month and i basically have been in denial about that since coming back and jumping into new courses here and so forth. it is time to be more present with those problems, to go ahead and make connections with family members that need to make. thank you, again, for your words.
