We're probably all a bit tired of this discussion, but I am compelled to reply once again.

I love the concept of surrender. I know that were I better at it, I could overcome the blocks that torture me. I wouldn't settle for mediocrity. I would lose much of my frustration. If I could completely trust myself and others, I would live in a state of constant awe.

However, I still agree with Dave. Too often people surrender without consciousness. They give themselves over to the religion, political beliefs, love--whatever. But to do so, they block out everything else. Then when they wake up, because they've been supressing some important part of themselves, they're angry and they run away. We've seen it happen here.
