The black catling leaped out the window, rolling neatly on the ground and quickly regaining his feet. Without the briefest pause, he was in a hard sprint again, adrenaline pounding through his body. He veered through a hedge, then was suddenly frozen in place. He strained, trying to move, flexing his powerful muscles against the bonds that held him there, but it was no use. In the corner of his eye he could see that Vysaere had been caught too. He tried again to break free, trying to get to her to get her free. But still, whatever force held him there endured, and he couldn't move. He growled softly as several figures approached...
