Sometimes we have to play the game so we aren't considered non-compliant.

But after giving it a fair chance, say 4 or 5 sessions, you should feel empowered to tell your doctor that (if) it isn't helping you.

It sounds like they are treating you as if you are much sicker than you feel or perhaps somewhat feeble-minded.

Only you know for sure how highly you are functioning because you are the only one who can get inside your head.
