It's lost to me because once I transferred it into his name, it no longer belonged to me. He would have had to call and try to get some sort of voucher that he could then transfer back to me and you know he never thought to do that. He turned off his phone so I couldn't call him. He never called me back. I tried calling the airline but they said that since it is in his name, he had to be the one to call and he had to call to cancel it before the flight time. He didn't do that so now there is nothing I can do. He wasted my time and he wasted my money. He's lied over and over to me and this time I'm through. I sent him an email and left a voicemail telling him that I want my money back and other than that there is nothing he and I need to talk about EVER again.

I won't get the money. He doesn't have it and he still hasn't paid me a dime on the couple years that I had to pay for a storage unit to store both mine and his stuff...the stuff that he drove away and left in SC and never planned to come back for but my mom and stepfather were nice enough to drive down there and get for him so he wouldn't lose all that. I had my stuff already in a storage unit but I put all of his in there too and he said he'd split the cost with me but about a year ago his parents came through and got all of his things and I haven't received a dime. He left guns, a small boat, pictures, everything he had in SC and simply drove away. I should have kept the guns and sold them but they were old rare guns and I knew they meant a lot to him so I gave them back. Funny, they didn't mean enough to him to actually take them when he left SC though.

Whatever. I've lost all kinds of money in addition to the drain on my emotional health that he's cost so what's an additional $258, right? Except that I really can't afford that either, being a single mom and trying to help my son with college and making less than $30,000 a year.

Whatever I do, I lose. I'm tired of it. People take advantage of me because I'm easy to take advantage of. I end up feeling sorry for him and it costs me in more ways than one. Well, no more. I want nothing to do with him ever again. It's sad that we couldn't at least be friends but we can't because I don't need friends who can't keep their word, who take advantage of my ability to feel sorry for them and who constantly let me down and hurt my feelings.

No one else will put up with his shit as long as I did unless they are crazy. Kris was supposedly so much in love with him. Well, she lasted about 2 months with him before she bolted. I lasted 5 years and was in the process of giving him yet another chance. I need to figure out why I let people keep on hurting me for so long before I get enough and kick them to the curb. It's ridiculous.

Oh well, I've rambled on long enough... guess I'll go.
